Belt football player hospitalized

By Tribune Staff

Robert Back, a football player for Belt High School, suffered a serious head injury during the Huskies' 52-18 win over Chester-Joplin-Inverness Friday night in Belt.

Back is under care at Benefis hospital where the teen's family has asked that no further information be released on his medical status.

The family is grateful for the community support they are receiving, Belt Superintendent Kathleen Prody told the Tribune. Prody added that the family is requesting prayer support from the community.

A junior, Back is a lineman for the Huskies and has also competed for Belt's track and field team.

Prody said Great Falls Central Catholic School will be hosting a prayer service for the injured player at 3 p.m. Sunday.
