Fisherman’s body recovered from Mission Lake

The Glacier County Sheriff’s Office has located the third and final fisherman who went through the ice in November at Mission Lake, the sheriff’s office said in a release.

The body has been identified as Danny Heyland of Lethbridge, Alberta.

Three people were believed to have fallen into Mission Lake on Nov. 22. Divers recovered the body of 63-year-old Kazuhiko Hayashizaki of Canada three days later. Fuki Nishibayashi’s body was found in February.

According to the news release, a deputy was on shore patrol at Mission Lake when he spotted the body. No foul play is involved, and Heyland’s death has been ruled an accident.
