CMR senior: Comfortable doesn't mean sloppy

Jessica Gray

C.M. Russell High senior Shelly Walker is the student body secretary and a member of the Rustlers choir. She also works as a waitress at Chili's Grill and Bar.

"I don't plan ahead; I just decide what I'm going to wear that day when I wake up in the morning," Walker said. "I don't like wearing sweatpants to school. Some days you just want to feel comfortable but that doesn't mean you have to look like a bum."

Walker is wearing a gray-heathered lightweight sweater she bought during a trip to Portland at Forever 21. She instantly liked the sweater because of the way it was cut on the bottom.

She bought her dark-blue American Eagle jeans in Portland as well. Her boots were a Christmas present from her mom, ordered online at Zulily.com.

Her mom gave her most of her accessories, including her earrings and ring. Her mom is a Premier Designs jewelry consultant so Walker has access to many pieces of jewelry.

"If I am getting up to speak in front of people I wear a little more jewelry than typical days," Walker said. "It's easy to dress things up with accessories."
