Class in need of markers

From the creators of My Neighbor in Need, www.mystudentinneed.org is a website that provides a private and nurturing way for teachers and faculty members to ask for help for a student in need and a way for the community to give back.

Current needs

•It is the middle of the school year, and one of our fourth-grade classrooms is in need of markers. Some students had them at the beginning of the year, and the markers have dried up and/or gone missing. We would like to request 10 packs of multicolored markers for student use. We also need thin tip black EXPO markers for use in daily instruction like math and reading. Many schools can ask parents in the middle of the year to replenish these types of supplies, but this class has a high number of low-income students. If you can help, please call My Student in Need at 406-750-2542. The identification number is West #966.

•We would like to thank the many caring individuals who called our office and went online to answer the call for help for a family in need of a space heater and extension cord. So many of you offered help we were able to not only provide the needed items, but thanks to Mountain View Co-op, they received a propane tank, delivered and set up, and several donors paid to fill the tank so that evening they had a warm place to sleep. You all rock!
