Central Montana Blotter: Pizzas, garbage bags

Regional law enforcement blotters included the following:

Havre, Feb. 11: The caller said someone ordered $103 in pizzas, but when he went to deliver them nobody was home. He said the residence looked vacant, and he called the number back but they were not accepting calls.

Glasgow, Feb. 17: The caller reported that she loaned her vehicle to a family member to go to Billings on the previous Friday. The caller said the borrower was to return with the vehicle on Saturday, but had not returned. The caller wanted to report the vehicle as stolen. The borrower called to see if someone was wanting to speak with her about supposedly stealing a vehicle, and she was connected with an officer. The borrower was cited for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and returned it.

Havre, Feb. 17: Report of a male and female with garbage bags acting suspicious in a parking lot.

Glasgow, Feb. 17: A caller asked what the open carry laws were, explaining that she had a young man in a store wearing a holster with a gun. Officers spoke with the male, telling him it was illegal to wear the weapon in Shopko.

Glasgow, Feb. 19: The caller stated a female has parked her car on the sidewalk, facing the wrong direction of traffic. An officer spoke to the woman, who said she will move her car.

Havre, Feb. 23: A gas station employee called about an Arizona ID that was valid until 2061. He wanted an officer to make sure it was not fake.
