Man faces 15 charges for alleged crimes

Robert Joseph Coelho is charged with four counts of misdemeanor theft, one count of felony theft, four counts of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle, three counts of criminal mischief, two counts of felony burglary and one count of felony deceptive practices.

According to court documents, one alleged victim was hospitalized after being jumped in late January. The attacker took his wallet, phone and the $100 sneakers off his feet. Purchases on the man’s credit card tie Coelho to that robbery, according to court documents.

The police report says shoe prints tie the defendant to two of the reported incidents. The report cites mall surveillance video and testimony of informants as well.

Charging documents indicate Coelho has a lengthy criminal history and was out on bond for a 2013 case when the alleged activity occurred.

Coelho’s bond was set at $50,000.

Parole absconder appears in court

Joseph Clyde Ramming, 35, is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, felony drug possession, misdemeanor drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court documents say Ramming pointed a gun at an acquaintance and his 14-year-old son after entering their home without permission. The man told investigators Ramming appeared to be “tweaking” and was probably looking for drug money.

Police reports also say Ramming was a parolee on the run with a city and county warrant for his arrest. Investigators reported finding methamphetamine and marijuana in Ramming’s hotel room.

His bond was set at $50,000.

Man accused of threatening officers

Frank Lee Maciel, 24, is charged with felony intimidation, obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct for his alleged behavior toward officers while they tried to arrest him for trying to force his way into a woman’s home.

According to court documents, a man believed to be Maciel tried to enter a residence at the 1400 block of 6th Avenue South. The resident told police the man banged on her door and said “let me in, I have a gun.”

The police report says Maciel tried to run and hide from an officer, was “extremely combative” with law enforcement and threatened the responding officers. The report says Maciel specifically threatened to kill the officer transporting him to jail and the officer’s family, adding that if he was incarcerated long term he would have “his boys” do it for him.

Bail was set at $50,000 with a GPS monitoring requirement based on the nature of the alleged threats.
