Rescue Mission asks for Easter donations

Tribune Staff

The Great Falls Rescue Mission is asking the community for donations of boneless ham, fresh potatoes and vegetables for its annual Easter luncheon, and for donations of candy for Easter baskets for its Easter egg hunt, both of which will be held Friday, April 3.

The luncheon is open to the community and held at Montana ExpoPark the Friday before Easter. About 500 people are expected to attend the luncheon, and more than 400 children are expected to hunt for Easter eggs. More than 20,000 eggs are being filled for the hunt.

"I would say ham is the number-one need," said Carrie Sunwall, development director of the Great Falls Rescue Mission.
