Katie Biggs: Why I Wear What I Wear

Katie Biggs is the area director for Young Life, a non-denominational Christian youth ministry. Almost every piece of clothing she wears bears the Young Life logo. She loves the clothing line, and would choose their clothing even if she didn't work there.

"The Young Life logo is so recognizable, and they carry a huge line of clothing," Biggs said. "I must have between forty and fifty Young Life t-shirts. They have a great website with all kinds of custom designed clothes."

Biggs is wearing a polyester dry-fit quarter zip pullover with the Young Life Montana logo on the front. She has on a pair of faded blue denim capri pants. Her earrings were a present from her husband.

Biggs has on a pair of brown leather pair of Birkenstock sandals. She finds them incredibly comfortable, especially when she is on her feet, keeping up with teens on a daily basis.

"It's really silly but a lot of the staff wears Birkenstocks. I have no clue why, there is really no rhyme or reason, but you almost always see us in Birkenstocks," Biggs said.
