Man dies in motorcycle crash

A 28-year-old man died when the motorcycle he was on slid out from under him and collided with a concrete barrier in Havre, officials said.

The crash occurred about 11:10 p.m. Friday, at 6th Street North and 7thAvenue North in Havre, the Montana Highway Patrol said.

The man was traveling on 6th Street North and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. He exited the right side of the roadway. The motorcycle laid down on its side and collided with a concrete barrier, officials said.

There was one fatality and one injury, but MHP officials said it was not immediately known how the injury was related to the crash.

No further information was immediately available.
