5 true things the palm reader told me at the fair

Will I be pretty? Will I be rich? Ask the psychic! Whether you believe in magic or not, state fair intuitive reader Eileen Bresnahan’s booth is well worth stopping by just for the welcoming conversation. Here are the most dead-on things she had to say.

1. Babies: When Eileen said I would have three of my own and one adopted, I was ready to shout “HA!” Then she said they could be fur babies. I’ve had three of my pets since they were weaned and one I adopted from a friend at 3 years old.

2. Stress: Looking at my “stress lines,” Eileen said I carry stress in my neck and shoulders to the point of getting headaches. I recently got a prescription for that exact problem. Well played, Eileen. Well played.

3. Careers: One of my lines said I would have multiple careers. Not jobs. Careers. Last year, I was a teacher. This summer, I scrapped that to pursue journalism. Eileen, are you stalking my Facebook page?

4. Creativity: OK, so introducing myself as a reporter was a giveaway. But Eileen totally nailed my love for all creative endeavors and said these things will always occupy my time. Look out, arts community of Great Falls! You’ll never be rid of me!

5. Intuition: Eileen said I have a sense about people and I know when they’re not on the level. Not astonishing in and of itself. But a few years ago, another palmist at the fair told me the exact. Same. Thing. Either they go to conventions and talk about us, or this lady’s good.
