Name of Grand Teton worker killed in fire released

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) – The seasonal worker killed in a fire at an employee dormitory in Grand Teton National Park has been identified as 28-year-old Anthony Graviano.

However, the Jackson Hole News & Guide reports that park officials were not immediately certain where Graviano was from.

Graviano was employed with the Grand Teton Lodge Co.

He died when a dorm room in the Colter Bay area caught fire around midnight Thursday.

All of the approximately 70 occupants of the two-story dormitory were evacuated, and four people were treated for minor injuries and smoke inhalation, park officials reported.

Most rooms in the dormitory were not affected but residents were temporarily housed elsewhere for the rest of the night.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
