Blotter: Men singing, urinating outside bother callers

Regional law enforcement blotters included the following between April 27 and May 5.

Glasgow, April 27: An anonymous caller reported that two kids were jumping into the hole behind the Long Run Fire Department. The caller was concerned the hole may cave in on them. An officer advised that he spoke with the kids. They were playing on the dirt hill and will stay off of it. The officer said he didn’t see any holes.

Hinsdale, April 27: The caller reported a couple of characters were hanging around main street in Hinsdale for a couple of hours. The caller said the subjects are checking things out up and down the street with what he believes to be a range finder and field glasses. They caller said they left for awhile and came back. The complainant called back to let us know that the subjects left. Deputies were called to complete a search of the area.

Havre, May 4: A caller said someone tried to break into the coin machine at a car wash.

Havre, May 4: The caller complained about an intoxicated male singing and walking down the street. Police gave the man an official warning.

Havre, May 4: A man called to say he was “getting sick of his neighbor driving down the alley” while he was working in his garage.

Havre, May 5: The caller reported a male urinating outside.
