Signs ask for courtesy with fireworks and veterans

Some in the community have expressed concern for veterans during the Fourth of July and the effect fireworks can have on them.

A nonprofit group, Military with PTSD, developed signs that they ship to veterans nationwide that read "Combat veteran lives here, please be courteous with fireworks."

The Tribune has 25 of the signs available for veterans in Great Falls. To get one, stop by the Tribune from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The signs will be available at the front desk until we run out.

If you'd like to make a donation to Military with PTSD, go online or leave a donation with the Tribune and we'll send it to the nonprofit. They use the donations to continue making and shipping signs to veterans nationwide.
