The 17-year-old suspect in a recent stabbing in Havre will be tried as an adult.

The Hill County Clerk of Court confirmed that Justice Brown will be tried in District Court.

A hearing to determine whether the case should be moved to juvenile court was held Monday. He is charged with three counts of attempted homicide and one count of aggravated burglary. The May 2 stabbings injured two 19-year-olds, Sam Mix and Taylor Woolman, and 20-year-old Alicia Schneid.

The Havre Daily News previously reported Brown is from Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation.

Brown’s trial was set for Nov. 16. He is also scheduled to stand trial in juvenile court July 28 on a rape charge.

Brown is being held at the Cascade County Juvenile Detention Center in Great Falls with his bail set at $250,000, with an additional $20,000 bond for his juvenile case.
