Early Risers meet Thursday 6:30-7:45 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1315 Central Ave., for breakfast, speakers and voluntary donations. Call 453-1411.

Members of First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church, the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation and First English Evangelical Lutheran Church will celebrate Pentecost Sunday at 10 a.m., with a parade beginning at the corner of 6th Street North and 2nd Avenue North.

First Presbyterian Church will celebrate Pentecost Sunday at 10 a.m.

First English Lutheran Church, 726 2nd Ave. N., will hold a Pentecost Sunday walking procession beginning at the First Baptist Church, and those attending are encouraged to wear red to worship at the 10 a.m. service.

After Sunday’s 10 a.m. worship service at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, a memorial service will be held in Memorial Garden.

Pentecost Sunday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5300 9th Ave. S., includes Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and wearing red at the 10:30 a.m. service.

A special offering for the Bolivia water project will be received during Sunday’s 10 a.m. worship at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Central Christian Church, 1025 Central Ave., will celebrate Pentecost at Sunday’s 10 a.m. worship.

First Congregational United Church of Christ and Christ United Methodist Church will worship jointly 9:30 a.m., Sunday, at their shared facilities at 2900 9th Ave. S. Nursery care is available.

New Hope Lutheran Ministry, 3125 5th Ave. S., will celebrate the festival of Pentecost with Holy Communion Sunday at 9 a.m., and those attending are encouraged to wear red.

St. Constantine and Helen Eastern Orthodox Church, 1101 1st Ave. N., will have an open house 2-4 p.m., today, followed by Vespers service at 5 p.m. Sunday services begin with Orthros at 9:30 a.m., and continue with Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m.

Pentecost Sunday will be celebrated at the 9:30 a.m. worship service at Faith Lutheran Church, 1601 2nd Ave. N., Suite 300W, and everyone is invited to wear red.

Heritage Baptist Church, 900 52nd St. N., will hold a Memorial Day service Sunday at 11 a.m.
