Montana man pleads guilty in North Dakota heroin case

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A Montana man has pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge in North Dakota.

Shawn Baker is charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Authorities say Baker, of Havre, Mont., obtained heroin and prescription pills in Minnesota and distributed them on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

Baker’s attorney could not be reached for comment.
