Teen dresses cute, comfortable without being sloppy

Seventeen-year-old Rachel Hegg is the daughter of Mitch and Sue Hegg. She is a home-schooled senior and will graduate in a few weeks. Next fall she plans to attend Grand Canyon University in Arizona to study digital design and animation.

Rachel is wearing a pair of charcoal gray skinny jeans and a long-sleeved navy blue cotton T-shirt, which is layered over a turquoise striped tank top. She purchased her jeans at Wal-Mart and the shirts from Old Navy.

"It's a pretty comfy outfit," Rachel said. "It's cute and comfortable without being sloppy,"

Under her brown leather combat boots, Rachel is wearing a pair of multicolored striped socks. She makes it a point to wear socks with interesting designs on them at all times, whether they are seen or not.

"If you are going to wear socks, they might as well be awesome," Rachel said.
