1st Avenue North bridge closed next week

The 1st Avenue North bridge is scheduled to be closed next week, beginning Monday.

Montana Department of Transportation officials said crews would be replace the railroad crossing at the west end of the bridge.

The closure will span Central Avenue West from 3rd Street Southwest to River Drive North. The bridge will be a complete closure for the week.

Travelers should find alternate routes for the duration of the project, while adjusting their travel time and schedules accordingly.
