School board ballots due Tuesday

Time is running out to weigh in on the Great Falls Public Schools trustee election.

Those vying for the three open seats are challengers Beth Cooper, Barbara Going, Patrick Flaherty and Rudolf Tankink, and incumbents Jeff Gray, Ann Janikula and Laura Vukasin.

Voters can vote for three candidates.

Voters can vote at Exhibition Hall from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday or in person at the election office on 2nd Avenue North until 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The Cascade County elections office said that 11,295 ballots had been returned as of Monday afternoon.

The county earlier said 27,000 total ballots went out for the trustee election and the office is hoping for a return of between 12,000 and 13,000.
