Rep. Price cites high and low points from legislative session
Rep. Jean Price
Rep. Jean Price, D-Great Falls
Here are my views on the 2015 session of the Montana Legislature.
High points:
The water compact, the HELP Act (Medicaid expansion) and campaign finance reform. I think we all feel good about that. School finance passed (early). This is such a benefit for local school districts. It’s always been such a struggle.
Low point:
I wanted to see us accomplish it (pass infrastructure bill) before we left. There was a lot of nice money for eastern Montana, the oil and gas area. The Republicans don’t like bonding. We tried.
