Two men in court for alleged sexual abuse of children

Two men accused of sexually assaulting underage girls made their initial court appearances Wednesday.

Douglas Scott Stoker, 54, is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl. According to court documents, Stoker attempted to commit suicide during his arrest Tuesday. The police report says Stoker attempted to hang himself with his shirt, but an officer was able to stop him.

Stoker is being held on a $250,000 bond.

Jose Natalio Garcia Jr., 55, is accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl Tuesday. Court documents say Garcia asked the girl to keep the incident a secret, but the girl reported it immediately.

Garcia is being held on a $125,000 bond.
