Rocky Mountain men cruise past Argos

BILLINGS - Chad Kananen scored 25 points as Rocky Mountain defeated the University of Great Falls 87-74 Thursday night in a Frontier Conference men’s basketball game.

Taylor Longo scored 17 and Rob Nyby added 15 as the Bears improved to 7-6 in Frontier play and 16-9 overall.

The Argos of coach Anthony Owens fell to 3-10 and 10-12.

Michael Harris scored 18 for UGF. Daniel Arcau and John Makker added 11 points apiece, and Sigman Farmer II contributed 10 points, 13 rebounds and three assists.

The UGF men play at Montana Western on Saturday night.
