Bobcat men hit 25 treys to defeat Northern Arizona

BOZEMAN – Freshman Tyler Hall scored 29 points and made eight of Montana State’s school-record 25 treys as the Bobcats defeated Northern Arizona 101-58 Thursday night in a Big Sky Conference men’s basketball game.

Hall, a frosh from Illinois who has already set the Cats’ record for freshman scoring, shot 10-for-14 from the field. He was 8-for-11 from 3-point range.

The Bobcats of coach Brian Fish improved to 11-13 overall and 6-6 in Big Sky play.

Northern Arizona, which trailed 56-18 at halftime, fell to 4-19 and 2-10.
