Authorities ID Great Falls woman killed in crash

The Cascade County Sheriff/Coroner’s Office has released the name of the woman killed in a fatal crash Monday morning southeast of Great Falls.

The woman has been identified as Angela Kay Vohs, 33, of Great Falls. A news release says she died as a result of injuries she suffered from the crash.

According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper James Humiston, Vohs was traveling northbound on Montana Secondary Highway 227 when she swerved to miss a dog in the road. She left the roadway on the east side, overcorrected, and came back across the highway, rolling her vehicle multiple times.

Humiston said the woman was not wearing her seat belt and was partially ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash was reported around 6:20 a.m. Monday. It happened just south of Tracy on what is often referred to as Stockett Road.

MHP is handling the crash investigation.
