Man arrested on suspicion of kidnapping estranged wife

HAMILTON — A 49-year-old Corvallis man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping his estranged wife and assaulting her.

The state issued a missing and endangered persons alert for 47-year-old Sherri Frost on Monday after officials received a report that she had been taken from a friend’s house against her will.

Kevin Frost surrendered to Ravalli County authorities Monday afternoon and Sherri Frost was taken to the hospital to be treated for nonlife threatening injuries.

Kevin Frost was being held in jail in Hamilton without bond. He is expected to make an initial court appearance Thursday.
