Road closure near Seeley Lake

Tribune Staff

A stabilizing retaining wall will be installed on Dunham Road No. 4388 in the Seeley Lake Ranger District, closing down the road from Aug. 1 through Aug. 5.

The Lodgepole Trailhead is located off this road and will also be closed during the brief construction period.

Dunham Road is about 17 miles east of Seeley Lake via the Cottonwood Lakes Road No. 477. Construction will begin at mile marker 5.25.

Though the road reopens Aug. 5, work will continue for approximately two weeks. Those utilizing the road and the trailhead may experience some delays during this time. To avoid waits, travelers are advised to use the road before 7:30 a.m., during the noon lunch hour or after 5 p.m.

For current information on the status of the road and work schedule/traffic delays, contact the Seeley Lake Ranger District at 677-2233.
