Montana prison inmate dies in Great Falls

Montana State Prison inmate Kenneth George Johnson died Friday at Benefis Health System in Great Falls, according to the prison.
Johnson suffered from an extended illness, and an autopsy is scheduled. He was 53.
Johnson was sentenced out of Yellowstone County on June 9, 1983, for aggravated kidnapping, sexual intercourse without consent and attempted homicide with a dangerous weapon enhancement. He received a sentence of 150 years, according to the Montana Department of Corrections.
Johnson became parole eligible in 2000 and his prison discharge date was April 1, 2060.
