Lightning-caused fire in CMR 90 percent contained

Firefighters had a 24-acre fire in the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge 90 percent contained as of 1 p.m. Saturday, said Jonathan Moor, a spokesman for the Bureau of Land Management in Lewistown.
A total of 20 personnel and three engines responded to the fire from the BLM and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service after the lightning-caused blaze was reported at 1 p.m., Moor said. The personnel included 10 smoke jumpers.
The fire is 23 miles southeast of Zortman in Phillips County, according to Lewistown Interagency Dispatch Center.
