A 25-year-old man from Missoula was killed Wednesday in a crash on Duck Lake Road, also known as Secondary Highway 464, in Glacier County, the Montana Highway Patrol reported.

The crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. The driver was headed northbound in a Toyota pickup on Highway 464 when for unknown reasons, he drifted to the left across the southbound lane and into the barrow pit, the MHP said. He was traveling along the pit when he overcorrected, went through a fence and the truck rolled several times, the MHP said.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was completely ejected from the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the MHP said.

According to the MHP, alcohol is suspected to be a factor. The crash is still under investigation.

This is the 127th fatality on Montana roadways this year.
