Juneau and Zinke to debate in Billings

Republican Ryan Zinke and Democrat Denise Juneau will square off for a second time this week Thursday in a debate for Montana’s lone House of Representatives seat.

Thursday’s debate is 7 p.m. at Petro Theater on the Montana State University-Billings campus. Panelists are Tom Lutey of The Billings Gazette, Jackie Yamanaka of Yellowstone Public Radio and KULR8.

Juneau is the state superintendent of public instruction. Zinke is a former state senator and former Navy SEAL.

Various Northern News Network stations will broadcast the debates, which will last one hour, live.

It will be broadcast on www.northernbroadcasting.com, Yellowstone Public Radio and on Montana Public Radio.

The two had their first debate Monday in Frazer. Another debate is scheduled for Oct. 5 at Heritage Hall at Great Falls College Montana State University. It will be hosted by the Montana Farmers Union and the Great Falls Tribune.
