HELENA – Carter Pappas threw for 183 yards and four touchdowns Friday night as the Capital Bruins raced past the Missoula Big Sky Eagles in Class AA action at Vigilante Stadium.

STEVENSVILLE – Senior place kicker Cayden Ayers made his second consecutive game-winning field goal, a 31-yard effort with eight seconds remaining, to boost the Corvallis Blue Devils over Stevensville in Southwest A action.

HAMILTON – Carson Rostad threw a pair of TD passes and ran for another Friday night to lead the Hamilton Broncs over the Whitefish Bulldogs in the regular season finale for both teams.

Glasgow 34, Malta 33

MALTA – Malta scored as time expired and elected to go for the win on a two-point conversion, but the Mustangs were unable to convert as Glasgow hung on for a dramatic rivalry-game win. Benji Phillips rushed for 172 yards for the Scotties while Ostin Welch hauled in 12 catches for 181 yards and a pair of scores in the loss for the Mustangs. Glasgow clinched the 2B and a home playoff game with the win, while Malta will go on the road to start the playoffs as a No. 2 seed.

DEER LODGE – Braxton Hills rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another Friday night to lead the Anaconda Copperheads over the Deer Lodge Wardens in the District 6B finale for both teams.

HARLOWTON – Keelan Taber scored in almost every possible way Friday night, registering five touchdowns and a safety as the Harlowton Engineers defeated Broadview-Lavina in Southern C play.
