The Beaverhead County Beavers of Dillon have been top-ranked among Class A teams all fall in the Great Falls Tribune Top 25.

This weekend we’ll find out if they belong there.

The unbeaten Beavers meet third-ranked Columbia Falls, which is also undefeated, in this week’s game of the week in Class A. The game is in Columbia Falls, where the Wildcats have had a week off to prepare, and is one of the best matchups of the weekend.

There’s another highly anticipated game with Tribune Top 25 implications, and it’s across the state in Wibaux.

Fairview has been top-ranked among Class C teams all fall and this week takes on Wibaux in a battle of unbeaten.

Class C also features undefeated teams from Belt, Ennis and Harlowton in the Tribune Top 25, which each week ranks the top five teams in all five Montana prep classifications.

Teams from Billings Senior (Class AA), Fairfield (B) and Hot Springs (Six-Man) all remain unbeaten and atop their respective classes in the Tribune Top 25. Senior meets the gritty Great Falls High Bison on Friday, while Fairfield takes on Cut Bank in a District 1B pairing of longtime rivals.

As always, feel free to drop me a line at smansch@greatfallstribune.com with suggestions for this poll.
