Lindseth, Majerus named Athletes of the Week

JOSEY LINDSETH

Foothills Christian, Volleyball

The senior captain earned MVP honors at the MCAA state tournament as the Foothills Christian Falcons capped an unbeaten season by winning the championship. Also nominated for their fine performances were Choteau volleyball standout Molly Salmond and Winnett-Grass Range cross country star Kita Weingart.

NOAH MAJERUS

Lewistown, Cross Country

He finished sixth at the Class A state meet to lead the Fergus High Eagles of Lewistown to a third-place team finish. Also nominated for outstanding efforts were Glasgow football star Darrin Wersal and Great Falls High cross country standout Teagan Olson.

These athletes and all those who are nominated for the Athlete of the Week throughout the school year will be honored at the Great Falls Tribune’s second annual Northcentral Montana Sports Awards banquet next spring.
