Victims of fatal crash in Cut Bank identified

The two victims of a fatal crash just outside of Cut Bank early Friday morning have been identified.

The deceased have been identified as 31-year-old Michael Lee Eads and 25-year-old Frosty Rae Gobert, both of Cut Bank, according to a release from the Glacier County Sheriff's Office.

Glacier County is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A third passenger, a 21-year-old Cut Bank man, was airlifted to Benefis Hospital in Great Falls and his condition is unknown.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the three occupants were traveling west on 1st Street Northeast just outside Cut Bank around 2 a.m. Friday when the vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons, overcorrected three times and rolled multiple times.

All three occupants were ejected and Eads and Gobert were pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol and speed are considered to be factors according to MHP.
