Man killed south of Great Falls

A 47-year-old man was killed early Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 just south of Great Falls, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The man’s vehicle was northbound near mile marker 279 just after 4 a.m. when it drifted off the left-hand side of the road, striking a guardrail and continuing into the median.

The vehicle eventually struck a bridge pillar. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene, according to MHP.
